The purpose of this role is to analyse customer data. Key responsibilities: On a per contract basis, the SIM is responsible for ensuring all sub-systems supplied within a Dematic solution are correctly integrated; this involves defining scope, interfaces and testing for all sub-systems and acceptance testing for the overall solution. - Responsible for the system scope, functionality and acceptance testing, ranging from material handling equipment controllers through to logistics software systems and interfacing to other software systems. This implies, but is not limited to:- Interpret and help to develop customer requirements into Functional Design Specifications and approve Control Sub-system Specifications as applicable;- Co-ordinate input and requirements for simulation and emulation. Ensure that results are implemented on all control levels;- Approve / produce interface specifications for all control sub-systems and, where applicable, produce integration specification to complement high level logistic system Functional Design Specification (FDS).- Ensure that the above meets with all customer requirements according to the contractual agreement in place.- Keep the PM regularly informed of the status of the above. - Act as the Dematic focal point internally, for relevant subcontractors and for the Customer, on all systems integration related matters. - Produce and maintain documents and plans, detailing the project integration timetable and deadlines, resource & test requirements, project methodologies etc. - Liaise with appropriate Section Managers to ensure that the correct level of effort and resource is allocated to their contracts.- Prepare a monthly report detailing, but not limited to, progress against plan, resource requirements and potential problems.- Develop / verify specifications produced by others for Factory (FAT) and Site (SAT) Acceptance Tests, Tests on Completion and Performance Tests.- Manage, execute & attend all test activities. This includes, but is not limited to:- Ensure completed system meets functional and performance specification from sales proposal and design phase- Understand the system material flow concept and physical system layout and functional design specification for material flow host (WCS/WMS)- Under supervision of lead SIM or PM, produce testing strategies and testing documentation including Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), Tests on Completion and Performance Tests- Verify specification produced by IT provider for Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)- Assist in testing of WCS/WMS using simulators and emulation software and assist in factory acceptance testing of Dematic and third party equipment- Integrate equipment and WCS/WMS software ensuring full functionality following the agreed test procedures- Take ownership of the issues list during the testing phase, currently via Jira- Provide support to site-wide commissioning activities and ramp-up support through to handover to Early Life Integration team, or customer full takeover

Provide analysis, support, and strategic finance guidance to the Plant Manager, Floor Supervisors, and other key leadership on site.- Create financials for the factory including forecasts, monthly review of actual to forecast and plan, and support the annual budget process for that location.- Calculate, review, and ensure accuracy in standard costs including reviews of purchase price variance and production variances.- Support daily costing process and annual standard cost setting as required.- Prepare upcoming workload for manufacturing site both backlog (booked work) and new business.- Drive the SQDC (Safety Quality Delivery Cost) mentality in the plant with the plant manager and communicate the financial performance of the plant on a daily basis.- Review all key metrics of labor on a daily basis.- Support the forecast of inventory in the plant.- Calculate factory inventory reserves and evaluate the effectiveness of reserves on a quarterly basis.- Maintain and ensure compliance of all financial controls for the plant are followed including inventory management and cycle counts.- Participate in reviews of pending bids for new project work along with project turnover meetings.- Identify and drive process improvements in the business working with the plant manager.- Ability to be flexible with tasks and support other functions as needed for special projects.- Other tasks as assigned as required.
