Warehouses and distributions centres are at the heart of the supply chain, which is our space.  Our role is to find the most efficient way of getting goods from the start of their journey through to their exit and shipping off to consumers meeting their expectations and demands in a fast moving world.

 

This role is an exciting opportunity for you to join the team at Dematic helping to define and shape the future of materials handling solutions covering the UK region. Working with the Marketing Director, this is an exciting opportunity to develop and implement the communications strategy and find new, creative ways to excite and inform our colleagues, meeting our business objectives and agreed KPIs.

The Role

  • Develop and deliver quarterly plans to engage Dematic people in key campaigns across all sectors; from sales and operations, to people programme initiatives, as well as specific key projects.
  • Manage and deliver all business as usual internal communication channels/tools to ensure all colleagues are informed of business news, issues, changes and direction.
  • Ensure all comms activities deliver clear, consistent messages across all channels, for all audiences and aligned to Dematic branding.
  • Define a marketing dashboard using digital analytics and market information.
  • Work with key stakeholders at all levels, to ensure comms are focused and deliver on key messages and objectives.
  • Define a customer communications strategy that ensures Dematic are leveraging these relationships to show case projects and to drive thought leadership.
  • Develop and leverage relationships, building a broad network across Dematic, with specific focus on wider Dematic Global comms team to ensure a joined-up approach.
  • Work with the Marketing Managers to support and leverage events, customer days and conferences.
  • Manage agreed communications budget.

What We Are Looking For

To apply for this role you must evidence:

  1. Strong understanding of marketing principles, especially exhibitions/events and social media and digital marketing
  2. Insight driven thinking and the ability to work with trends to help inform strategy
  3. Working in a fluid marketing environment with the ability to balance traditional and digital marketing activity and workload
  4. The ability to interpret and identify key insight using market information and trends
  5. Confidence engaging with all levels of people within our organisation, with strong communication and presentation skills
  6. Be a strong communicator who provides clear thinking and structure
  7. Working knowledge of all social media platforms – Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube etc
  8. Have an active interest in social media and the latest digital trends
  9. Extensive experience in a digital/creative/media/marketing role
  10. Be ideally educated to degree level or have relevant experience
  11. Experience of working with and briefing creative, design and other agency partners
  12. The ability to develop plans without any starting point
  13. Knowledge of, or a strong capability to acquire knowledge of Dematic’s market, the drivers, challenges and trends facing customers, and how Dematic’s solutions, products and services address customer requirements
  14. Excellent grammatical English - both written and verbal
  15. Editorial skills for writing articles in internal and external communications
