The Role

Dematic is looking for a Field Service Technician, to be hired with a permanent contract, for its premisis in Cernusco sul Naviglio. He/she will be working as a part of a team in order to manage, control and repair our automated solutions. The candidate will mainly work at our customer’s automated warehouse, in conformity with predefined working schemes. Click here for watching our video!

What We Are Looking For

The Field Service Technician is going to:

 

  • Complete the scheduled, not scheduled and retrofit maintenance and services,
  • Work out improvement solutions to make up for the obsolescence of control systems,
  • Problem solver for all the operations on the different plants and solving unexpected malfunctions
  • Assemble, start up and test new plants
  • Write up periodical reports about the service activities

  

Who we are looking for?

A candidate with the following features:

 

  • Curious and passionate towards the sector of logistic supply chain,
  • At least 1-2 years of experience as Customer service Technician,
  • Technical diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or similar studies,
  • Availability to frequent travels mainly in Italy,
  • Familiar with the parametrization of electronical devices,
  • Possess strong relational skills to interact with customers and colleagues on the work site,
  • Good knowledge of Italian and English languages both written and spoken,
  • It will be considered a plus the knowledge/experience in troubleshooting, integration of PLC functions
